Waterfall Excursion

Come with us to the beautiful Bri Bri Waterfalls near Puerto Viejo. This will be an all day excursion to take in the natural beauty this region of Costa Rica has to offer.

Breathwork Workshop

In this immersive Breathwork Workshop you wil learn how to breathe with awareness and efficiency - supporting your body, calming your mind, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

We’ll explore functional breathing foundations, common mistakes, and simple techniques to reduce stress, balance your nervous system, and increase clarity and energy.

Bri-Bri experience

A visit to an indigenous reserve to experience the Bribri culture, see how the cacao fruit becomes Chocolate and do it ourselves… this experience will be a whisper to our spirit and remind us of who we are through the connection with ancestral roots and mother nature. This is a space for learning, discovery, and healing with Joy

A practical and empowering yoga workshop designed to help you explore functional alignment—the art of finding stability and ease in every pose based on your own anatomy. Through guided movement, discussion, and hands-on exploration, you’ll learn how to recognize common misalignments, apply safe and effective modifications, and adapt your practice to support your unique structure and goals.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

Daniela Novati

 

Hi, I’m Daniela. With over 25 years of experience, I bring depth, care, and anatomical expertise to every class I teach. After a serious car accident in my late 20s, I deepened my studies in anatomy and functional alignment to help myself—and now others—practice safely and mindfully.
My teaching blends the Hatha Yoga tradition with mindful movement and therapeutic alignment.. Breathwork, personal adjustments, and modifications are important parts of my approach.
I also lead Yoga Teacher Training programs, where I guide aspiring teachers to grow their practice and confidence.

I’d love for you to join me on the mat—to discover more about yourself, explore your body, honor your journey, and find strength and ease in your practice, toward a happier life.

Annasofia Padua

Hi, I’m Annasofia and I was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. My yoga and mindfulness journey began in college, primarily with the practice of meditation. Shortly after, a friend took me to my first yoga class. What I already understood through sitting meditation combined with mindful movement, transformed my life and has allowed me to re-discover the power of stillness during difficult times. In 2022, I completed a 200hr Vinyasa yoga teacher training at Hanu Yoga Miami. Since then, I have completed a 100hr Hatha training and plan to continue expanding my knowledge of anatomy and yogic philosophy. My classes are rooted in the exploration of awareness of mind, body and spirit. I see them as opportunities for self-connection, whether that is through the stillness of yin or the fluidity of vinyasa, I want to help students access a path to their center.

1. What is included in the retreat package?

Your retreat package typically includes:

  • Daily yoga and meditation sessions

  • Accommodation for the duration of the retreat

  • 3 x daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • 3 Guided workshops

  • Use of retreat facilities (pool, gardens, etc.)

  • Group excursions listed on the official retreat itinerary

  • Round-trip transportation between the airport and the resort

  • 1 x Massage

  • 1 x Alignment YoDiscover Mat

Please note: Flights and optional add-on experiences are not included in the retreat package.

2. What is not included in the price?

The following are additional costs and not included in your retreat fee:

  • Flights to the retreat location

  • Optional resort activities (e.g., horseback riding, zip-lining, snorkeling, ATV tours, etc.)

  • Spa and wellness treatments such as additional massages

  • Alcoholic beverages or off-site meals

  • Souvenirs and personal expenses

3. Do I need prior yoga experience to attend?

Not at all! The retreat welcomes all levels - from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Instructors provide modifications for every body type and experience level.

4. What should I bring?

We recommend packing:

  • Comfortable yoga clothes

  • Included Yoga mat

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Swimsuit

  • Flip flops and hiking sneakers

  • Light jacket or wrap for evenings

  • Sunscreen and insect repellent

  • Personal toiletries

A detailed packing list will be provided after registration.

5. What type of yoga will be practiced?

Each retreat features a blend of yoga styles - often including Hatha, Vinyasa, Breathwork, Yin, or Strech and Mobility. Morning sessions are energizing; evening sessions are restorative and calming.

6. Are meals vegetarian or vegan?

Meals are healthy, balanced, and can be customized to meet guests’ dietary preferences or restrictions. While many dishes feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients, they are not strictly plant-based. Please share any allergies, dietary needs, or preferences prior to arrival so we can ensure your meals are tailored accordingly.

7. Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Many participants attend solo. You’ll find a welcoming and inclusive community of like-minded individuals.

8. Is there Wi-Fi or cell service?

Wi-Fi is available in shared areas, but please note that signal strength can be inconsistent due to the natural surroundings. Connection may drop or slow down at times. We encourage guests to embrace this opportunity for a digital detox and focus on being fully present in the retreat experience.

9. What is the daily schedule like?

A sample day may include:

  • 7:00 a.m. – Morning yoga & meditation

  • 8:30 a.m. – Breakfast

  • 10:00 a.m. – Workshop or free time

  • 1:00 p.m. – Lunch

  • 3:00 p.m. – Optional excursion or rest

  • 6:00 p.m. – Evening yoga

  • 7:30 p.m. – Dinner & reflection

Schedules vary by instructor and location.

10. How do I get to the retreat?

You will receive detailed travel instructions after booking.
Flights and transportation to the retreat site are not included, but we can provide recommendations for airport transfers, rideshares, or local transport.

11. Are massages and spa treatments included?

No — spa services such as massages, facials, and wellness treatments are optional add-ons and charged separately. You may book them directly through the resort.

12. What is the cancellation policy?

Retreat is non-refundable unless cancelled by hosts.

13. Who attends these retreats?

People from all backgrounds — travelers, wellness seekers, professionals, and yogis — join to recharge, reset, and reconnect. All are welcome.

14. Are alcohol or smoking permitted?

Most yoga retreats are alcohol- and smoke-free to support detoxification and mindfulness. Please respect the wellness environment.

15. How do I reserve my spot?
